As promised, here’s the more budget version of my beauty gift guide. Everything on here is under £25, but I threw in some high end stuff too so it looks more expensive – nobody needs to know you bought them a YSL gift set but it was actually under the £25 mark, do they?
Sanctuary Spa Ultimate Glow Pamper Tin – £19
I do want to put it out there that this is only £19 until Thursday, as on Friday it’ll go back up to £40. So if you want this, you need to move fast! It’s the Star Gift in Boots this week, and it comes with absolutely masses of stuff for the price: body wash, body lotion, a body polisher (your body will look gooood after using this stuff, an exfoliator, face wash, spa facial headband, pumice foot scrub, foot butter and a foot file. For £19! And, on Wednesday or Thursday in Boots this week lots of stores have their mega points event on: find your closest one here and take full advantage!
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette – £20
If you need to buy for a beauty lover but can’t quite stretch to the full sized Naked Palette, this option is perfect. 6 matte neutrals from light to dark, to create any look you could need. And they’re the usual ridiculously good quality you’d expect from Urban Decay eyeshadows!
Mac Rebel Lipstick – £15
The perfect Wintery shade, this deep raspberry suits absolutely everyone. Super comfortable to wear and long lasting, it can be patted on with your fingers for a more subtle look, or applied straight from the bullet once you’ve built up a bit more confidence. Nobody would say no to a Mac lipstick, and I promise this one’s less scary on than it looks in the photo!
Remington Pearl Styling Wand – £12.46
This isn’t make up but I suppose it is technically still beauty, and I had to include it because it’s such a bargain at the minute. It’s half price, and is absolutely brilliant – it gets ridiculously good reviews everywhere, and I can vouch for it too, read my review here! This would be a perfect present, I’m very tempted to buy it and give it out to everyone I know myself.
YSL Baby Doll Mascara Set – £24.50
For someone really into their high end make up, this would be perfect. I’ve not tried this new(ish) mascara but I’ve heard this stuff is great, leaving gorgeous thick, long, fluttery lashes. It also comes with a free Top Secrets Pro Eye Make up remover!
And finally, my personal favourite and one that’s definitely on my list:
Real Techniques Core Collection – £21.99
It’s Real Techniques, it needs no introduction. This set comes with the detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush and the contour brush, and it comes in a nice little case/stand too, as if that wasn’t enough. Need, need, neeeeed. You know, if any of you fancy getting me a present.
There you go, I hope that was helpful, or has at least given you a couple of ideas for the beauty addict in your life. Or yourself. Does anyone else subscribe to the ‘one for me, one for you’ rule when Christmas shopping? No? Okay then…
Stay tuned for more gift guides over the next couple of weeks – I’m even going to attempt one for dads. Now there’s a challenge.
